The HIPPA website is very informative. Initially, i did not have much knowledge about the health insurance regualtions and benefits and now after reading this website it helped me with my future health insurance plans. Gayathri

You do not circle any yes responses on your own med history. This is for your partner to do tomorrow.

    Mrs. Dryer,
I already circled my yes remarks in red. Do I need to redo the health info sheet? Also, do we need to type out separatley questions that we would ask ourselves like you want us to do for the other assignment?

You can fill another one out in the morning.
You only type out the questions for the assignment due on the 14th on a family member or friend. Part of the learning experience for your partners tomorrow is to review your health history & think of questions.

I just checked out the HIPPA website and it was extremely detailed about the pre-existing conditions. After reading them all, I understand the importance of HIPPA.

This site unfortunately reminded me of when I was laid off at Boeing. This site makes that COBRA thing sound rather neat, it's intent is to help continue coverage after one's original coverage is ceased. Only the secondary insurance isn't nearly as good, it doesn't fully cover you and your family, it also was about three times the cost. However I did not know that HIPPA had any regulations on this, so that was informative to link the two together.

    Mrs. Dryer,

On the log, do we need to score ourselves on #7 and #8 on the clinical log assessment? Also, would you like us to calculate the total for student score?

I thought the library session was helpful to me. Now, I know where to go to get the information needed on certain drugs and diseases. Also, I too would like to hear the Holocaust survivors speak.

The information on the databases will be extremely helpful for research. I'm also in agreeance with everyone else for the holocaust presentation; it sounds so interesting.

The library session is very helpful to obtain concise info on medical conditions in a short period of time. I think the entities which we are going to work on is also going to help us and our upcoming batch in futhur. I think its a great idea. I am also interested in attending the holocaust presentation. The first website you listed looked like it would be a great resource for us as far as identifying different diseases. I tried to get onto the second website but it wouldn't let me in. I'm sure it was a great website though.

The first website was very insightful and helpful in diagnosing the different conditons of the mouth. It helped me understand the differences in each one more clearly. Unfortunately, the second website would not work.

Both the websites are very useful for references. I liked the dental charting tutorial which will help us in the clinic while we work on Dentrix. The atlas has good pictures and histology slides which will help us understand the actual pathology in each lesion.

Well, I finally checked out the other EIOE website. There are so many lesions and conditions of the mouth. I was impressed with all the pictures and some of the conditions I could identify. The problem I am having is that I can not identify half of them!! Am I the only one having this problem?
    Apparently so!!

Since the up comming test would have some slides for identification, the two websites regarding EIOE is very helpful for the exam preparation. Gayathri

I thought the web site on parameter care was very beneficial to me because it gave a description of each entity and helped me understand what I am looking for when I am probing.

I read the AAP website and I found that the new classification of perio diseases and the parameters of care would help us in future perio lectures. I believe it is also important to take notes on those pages for future references.
